Refund & Return Policy

Effective July 2025 – Newfound Tallow Inc.

At Newfound Tallow Inc., we take great pride in crafting small-batch, chemical-free skincare made with care, intention, and integrity. Due to the nature of our handcrafted products and the charitable model behind our business, we have a strict refund and return policy in place.

 

When We Accept Returns or Refunds

 

We will gladly issue a refund or exchange in the following cases:

  • The product arrives damaged, defective, or compromised in quality.
  • You receive the wrong product due to an error on our end.

To qualify, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product, and provide a photo and description of the issue so we can resolve it promptly.

 

When We Cannot Accept Returns or Refunds

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges in the following cases:

  • You do not like the scent or texture of the product.
  • The product has been opened or used, and there is no quality issue.

 

Because our products are made in small batches with minimal preservatives, we cannot restock or resell any item once it leaves our care.

 

Why Our Policy Is Firm

We are a small, values-driven business. A portion of proceeds from every regular tallow moisturizer goes toward purchasing ingredients and supplies for homemade, individual-sized meals donated monthly to a local homeless youth shelter. In addition, 100% of the proceeds from our Baby Butter Tallow are donated annually to the Newfoundland and Labrador Down Syndrome Association.

Offering refunds on non-defective products would directly impact our ability to carry out this mission. For that reason, we respectfully ask for your understanding.
